Celebrate over 50 years of Human Space Flight at Yuri's Night in Los Angeles with Space Enthusiasts from all over Southern California on Thursday, April 12!
LA’s Official Yuri’s Night Party starts at 8 pm and goes strong til 2 am at the unequivocal Station, located inside W Hollywood.
We will be sure to mix up plenty of dance worthy music and space inspired cocktails such as The Cosmic Frontier to keep you going all night long. As you mingle with your friends and make new ones along the way, keep your eyes peeled back for space industry persons of interest from Virgin Galactic, SpaceX, NASA, Space Frontier Foundation, and XCOR as well as the original Yuri’s Night Founders!
This Yuri’s Night event will boast displays and scale models from our favorite space companies, Space Swag, cosmic drink specials, a sexy souvenir photo booth, a huge array of gorgeous intergalactic projections, and our very own esteemed Astro DJ, Professor LaCroix (www.tbmrecords.com) all packaged in a beautiful Hollywood-style setting. Don’t miss out on Yuri’s Night 2012 with us!
This is a free event for all 18 and up, but registration is mandatory and tickets are limited! Be sure to wear your sexiest outfit or your intergalactic best (both preferred!) for all of the pictures you will take in our Yuri's Night photobooths!
What is Yuri’s Night?
Yuri’s Night is the largest annual celebration of space exploration encompassed by humankind’s curiosity through scientific and technical achievements. Taking place each year in hundreds of cities around the world, Yuri’s Night was established to commemorate humankind’s first venture into space by Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961.
